The association's handling of your personal data

In accordance with the responsibility of the M3 User Association (hereinafter "MAF"), we respect your privacy and ensure that your data is treated with the necessary confidentiality and respect. This policy is directed at you with whom MAF has a relationship through our business or you as a representative of such an organization; participants at events/conferences; website visitors; or otherwise have contact with MAF.

According to the new General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR, which entered into force on May 25, 2018, we have made changes to comply with the regulations.

Below you can read about how we process your personal data.

  1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PERSONAL DATA?

M3 User Association, Org. no: 822003-8395, Von Holtens Väg 18, 443 32 Lerum, Sweden is the personal data controller for such processing as described in this information text.

  1. PROTECTION AGENT

MAF has not appointed a data protection officer as the assessment made in accordance with the GDPR's regulations and the Swedish Data Protection Authority's (hereinafter "IMY") guidance is that MAF is not covered by the requirement for a data protection officer. MAF is also not covered by the group of organizations that IMY recommends appointing data protection officers even if they do not have to.
 

  1. HOW LONG DO WE SAVE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

MAF saves your personal data as long as it is justified based on the context. This can be, for example, when: we have contact with you via e-mail, where you participate in an event/conference, when we provide information at your request, information in cookies or due to a legal obligation.

The personal data that is relevant for us to be able to fulfill the agreement about your membership/partnership is saved for at least as long as you are a member/partner. The storage period depends, among other things, on requirements in legislation and our need to protect member/partner interests.

We may contact you after you withdraw as a member/partner in order to better understand the underlying reasons for member/partner withdrawals, and to investigate the possibility of possibly seeing you again as a member/partner.
 

  1. TO WHICH COUNTRIES DO WE TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

MAF only processes your personal data within the EU/EEA.
 

  1. RIGHT TO COMPLAINT TO THE SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY

If you are not satisfied with how we process your personal data, you have the right to submit a complaint to IMY, which is the Swedish supervisory authority. You also have the right to turn to the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work.

The purpose of this documentation is that MAF wants to be able to inform about its activities. MAF's interest in publishing images to inform about its activities is considered, after careful consideration, to outweigh the interest of the people in the images in protecting their personal data. The legal basis for MAF's publication is balance of interests.

You as a visitor/participant at events and/or conferences will, in addition to this information text, be informed that your personal data, i.e. the images/films, may be used to inform about MAF's activities on LinkedIn or another website. If you wish to object to this, you can contact info@movexm3.se. If your right to personal privacy is considered to outweigh MAF's interest, personal data processing will cease.
